ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Born and raised in Auckland, New Zealand, he is a fifth-generation Kiwi with a rich heritage that includes Pākehā (European, Scottish, and Irish), Māori, and Fijian Indian roots. He was led to the Lord in 2005 by his wife, Min Yee Seow, and in 2009 he sensed God's call to ministry. Over the next 14 years, he prayerfully sought God’s direction for entering full-time service.
He was blessed to be sent out by Pastor Howell of Sonshine Baptist Church in Whakatane. He pursued his biblical studies at Gulf Coast Bible Institute and was deeply influenced by the faithful ministers who ministered unto me.
He was ordained on the 24th of September 2023, and the church was officially chartered on the 19th of November 2023.
Among his ancestors is Dr. John Thomson, R.N., his great-great-grandfather, who served as a naval surgeon on HMS Ardent during the Battle of Copenhagen in 1807—a reminder that his family’s history is woven through both national and spiritual callings.
