Youth Making Games for Youth

Our young people have been busy this morning testing our flagship game — The Charger™.

This game is being developed to help young people have fun while memorizing The Romans Road to Salvation.

While the Gospel itself can never be trademarked or copyrighted, The Charger™ — which includes specific measurements and gameplay guidelines — is protected.

This morning, our youth (ages 10 and up) helped measure the distance used in the game — the space between two chairs that players run between during gameplay.

The setup is simple: One chair is placed at each end of a 9.5-meter stretch.

How to Play:

  1. Set two chairs 9.5 meters apart.

  2. Place a King James Bible (KJB) on the second chair.

  3. The player starts at the first chair, runs to the second, picks up the Bible, and returns to tap it on the first chair.

  4. Then they run back to the second chair, tap it, and open the Bible to the reference given at the start of the game (e.g. Romans 3:23: "For all have sinned...").

  5. They read it aloud clearly:“Romans three twenty-three — For all have sinned...”

  6. After reading, they close the Bible, place it back on the chair, and stop the timer.

  7. Record the time!

Here’s one of our young contenders in action!
