The bible gives us the following description of Jesus:
Jesus birth was prophesied in Isaiah 7:14, 600 years prior to the Gospel messages (most likely written after the ascension of Jesus Christ).
Isaiah 7:14 - Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.
In the New Testament, Immanuel is referenced as Emmanuel (God With Us).

Isaiah 53 prophesies of the suffering Jesus must undergo for our sakes. "But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed." (v5).
The Book of John declares Jesus as God, "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." (John 1:1)
This is comparative scripture for Gen 1:1, "In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth."
Jesus came to die for man's sin. "For he (Father) hath made him (Jesus) to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him." (2 Corinthians 5:21)
Jesus is the Second Person in the Trinity (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit).
Matthew 28:19-20
